"It's nice to know that one is not alone, or isolated, in life's struggle through the darkness. Running Over a Chinaman is a good read for it makes you cry, scream, curse, swear, be sad, and laugh. It's a good mix that's easy to read and leaves us dancing with hope. It also can empower one to do something about things."

What’s the difference between a PDF ebook and an ePub ebook?

PDF is short for portable document format. Generally speaking, you can’t make changes to a PDF (unless you have the right software and knowledge). When you receive a PDF, it should look the same on your computer as on anyone else’s. If you’ve ever emailed yourself a Word document from one computer to another, you may have noticed that it didn’t always look the same on the receiving computer.
PDFs are usually quite easy to print from (if printing is allowed in the file configuration), and what you see on the screen should be pretty much the same as what prints out.

EPub formats are a relatively new type of ebook designed more for reading items on hand held devices such as phones, Kindles, iPads and other digital readers. You can also read an ePub book on your laptop or desktop computer using Adobe Digital Editions.

The ePub format allows the user to make the text bigger or smaller, and when doing that, the text ‘flows’ and fills the screen differently, depending on its size. With a PDF, you make the whole document larger or smaller, and then sometimes you have to scroll from side to side or up and down to read right the way across a line, so ePub formats are much better for smaller screens.
